The Big Gay Market is a LGBTQ+ organized market series that focuses on creating safe and fun events for our LGBTQ+ communities. The mission of The Big Gay Market is to host inclusive, welcoming, and fun maker/local business markets for the Madison community and beyond. Today, we return to this same space-not in protest, but in celebration. We want to recognize the historic meaning behind setting up our grassroots pop-up market in this space especially due to its unique history for the Indianapolis community. This year marks the 40th anniversary of this first pride gathering and we are so proud to have Indy Gay Market occupy this space.

A Big Gay Market is a designated intentional and affirmative space for LGBTQI+ individuals, especially for those in our community that have intersecting marginalized identities, to join together in queer and trans joy for a cause. The market will boast 17 of Glasgow's best queer artists, designers, bakers and makers.
